Falkland Islands - Saunders Island

15th November 2016
I have added the final gallery of photographs from my recent visit to the Falkland Islands. This last set of photographs are from Saunders Island and the area around the Rookery; home large colonies of Black-browed Albatross and Rockhopper Penguins.

The Rockhopper Penguins which live on this part of the island are famous for taking a fresh water shower after emerging from the sea.

The Black-browed Albatross nest on the cliffs in close proximity to the routes taken by the Rockhopper Penguins to go to and from the sea.
